Слідчий суддя Вищого антикорупційного суду продовжив колишньому Міністру енергетики України строк дії запобіжного заходу у вигляді тримання під вартою строком на два місяці.
Як альтернативу, суд залишив заставу у розмірі 200 млн грн, у разі внесення якої на нього покладається ряд процесуальних обов’язків.
Відповідно до ч. 1 ст. 62 Конституції України особа вважається невинуватою у вчиненні злочину і не може бути піддана кримінальному покаранню, доки її вину не буде доведено в законному порядку і встановлено обвинувальним вироком суду.

Preventive measure extended for the former Minister of Energy of Ukraine
The investigating judge of the HACC extended the preventive measure imposed on the former Minister of Energy of Ukraine in the form of detention in custody for a period of two months.
As an alternative, the court upheld bail in the amount of UAH 200 million, subject to the imposition of a number of procedural obligations in the event that bail is posted.
In accordance with Part 1 of Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in accordance with the law and established by a court’s guilty verdict.
